Autumn bandana or Shawlette

As the seasons start changing, it’s a great time to make little accessories to keep away the chill. In this class we will be using the Eloise Bandana to make an autumn themed accessory with colorwork. While the bat motif for a little Halloween spirit is encouraged, feel free to pick the pumpkin, acorn or leaf motifs instead.

This project uses stranded colorwork worked flat. While this is not an intro colorwork class and does require knowledge of reading a chart and working stranded colorwork, this will be a great way to practice working this technique from the wrong side while maintaining tension and your color changes as well as catching floats.

Dates: Wednesdays, October 7 and 14

Time: 6-8pm

Yarn: Fingering or Sport weight yarn to match gauge

Note: Please come to class with your yarn wound and ready to go, appropriate notions and needles and a copy of your pattern.
