Intro to Mosaic Crochet

Learn a new crochet colorwork technique that allows you to use one color at a time. We will be working on little coasters that have a graphic print on them. We will go over the basics of mosaic crochet as well as how to read a chart. By the end of class you will have a new technique in your back pocket in order to confidently tackle a larger scale mosaic project.

What to bring - A 5mm hook and 2 contrasting colors of worsted weight yarn (less than 40 yards each—perfect for scraps!).

Yarn ideas - Cotton is great, but superwash wools like Cascade 220, Malabrigo Rios, or our own Meeker Street Cafe Latte work beautifully too!

Perks - Pattern is provided, and you'll leave ready to tackle any big mosaic project with total confidence! 🎉

Pre-Req - you do not need to have experience with colorwork but must be able to confidently single and double crochet on your own in order to keep pace with class
