Intro to Mosaic Knitting

Learn the art of mosaic colorwork knitting with the Pressed Flowers bandanna (free pattern) and create a great accessory for the weather transitioning to spring. We will learn how to read a mosaic chart and how to create a pattern using only 1 color per row. 

Dates:

• April 16th: casting on and the basics of mosaic charts, overview of the construction of the project, increases to the middle 

• April 30th: second half off the bandanna, decreases down from widest point 

Fee: $80

Time: 6:00-7:30pm

Yarn Suggestion :

Dk weight yarn in two contrasting colors, 114 yards of each 

Worsted weight is fine but your bandanna will end up slightly bigger than the measurements stated in the pattern

Knitting basics, a few completed projects, basic understanding of how to read a pattern
