Intro to tapestry
If you answer yes to any of the following questions, this class is for you:
1. Did you take the Weaving Basics class and fall in love?
2. Did you take the Weaving Beyond the Basics and still crave more?
3. Have you ever fallen into the #Tapestry tag on Pinterest or Instagram for hours?
4. Do you like to get funky with your fiber arts?
In this class we will explore using an entirely different kind of loom, a tapestry loom, also referred to as a weaving frame. Rather than using a heddle, we will be hand weaving our patterns using tapestry needles, tapestry bobbins, and hand picking our patterns. You will learn to follow a basic colorwork design as well as play with some funky new stitches and techniques not covered in our Beyond the Basics class.
