Mini Mock Neck
Whether this is your first garment or 50th, make a great staple summer top with the Mini Mock Neck top from Jessie Mae with plenty of time to wear for the rest of summer. We will talk about how to play with ease for your size choice, with the options for guidance through modifications like bust darts, waist shaping, adding length, and color choices like stripes or color blocking. Or if it’s your first garment and you’re still learning garment construction, we will be going over the techniques and methods used in the pattern as well as some tips and tricks. Choose from either the dk weight pattern or the fingering weight.
Dates - Wednesday’s June 17, 24 and July 1

Yarn suggestions - superwash wool like Meeker Street, Explorer Knits or a soft non-superwash wool like Knitting for Olive merino (plant fibers do not have the elasticity to hold the mock neck or body shape if planning for negative ease)
Materials - Materials are not provided. Please come to class with a copy of your purchased pattern (either printed or on a personal electronic device), your yarn ready to knit with, the needles that you achieved gauge with, your washed and blocked swatch, and appropriate notions
Pre-Req - can confidently knit and purl on your own and have experience with stockinette flat and in the round. While it’s possible this could be your first garment, in order to keep pace with class successfully it should not be your first larger scale project.
Homework - knit and block your swatch before coming to class to make sure you have the correct needles to get gauge
