Plied Yarns’ second weight of yarn, Pennsylvania Ave, is a two-ply, woolen-spun, worsted-weight yarn. The plies are hand-dyed separately and plied to create a semisolid marled yarn. The colors range from subtle marls created by plying similar colors to bold, barber pole-type marls.
This weight can achieve a variety of gauges - light worsted, worsted, aran and even chunky - because of it’s lofty characteristics.
