Immersed in the world of fiber arts since birth, Susie was raised by a true fiber macgyver, their mother Marguerite, a former yarn shop owner. During the pandemic, as their sister (another fiber enthusiast) battled COVID-19, they turned to yarn dyeing for solace. This pursuit unexpectedly deepened into a fervent love for yarn and color, leading to the inception of Fiber MacGyver. Now, they spend their days appreciating the yarn-making industry and the animals providing wool, infusing their work with influences from their travels and life by Minnesota's lakes, crafting a classic yet quirky style.
